Life is stressful and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and out of control at times. We all need tools to help us process day-to-day life and tools to help us deal with our traumas from the past, and therapy can transform us into the people we are meant to become – our best selves.

Hesitant about therapy? We get it. Pouring out our emotions to a stranger can seem like a a daunting idea, but ignoring trauma, anxiety, depression, self-hate and complicated emotions won’t make it go away.

Think of it this way. If your car is broken, you take it to a mechanic. If you’re sick, you go to a doctor. If your soul hurts, it’s time to connect with a therapist. The process of healing after years of stress and trauma might not be as straight forward as fixing a car’s transmission, but imagine what your life can be like without feelings of emptiness and self-doubt. Imagine what you could accomplish when you learn to better navigate this complicated world.

At Wildroots Collective, we provide you with talk therapy, but our approach is not simply staring at each other via a computer screen. We focus on connecting the body with the mind and spirit, incorporate somatic, art, gestalt and narrative therapy techniques, among others.

Our goal is not only to help you work through trauma but also to help you develop skills to feel like the best version of yourself. We will help you tap into your internal strength and resources. You have innate power and beautiful energy. Connecting to this will bring you joy and peace.

If you’ve been searching for Bozeman therapists, a Missoula therapist, therapists in Great Falls MT or perhaps Kalispell therapists, we offer services for women throughout Montana, and with online therapy, we can reach you wherever you might be located.

With its picturesque small towns and rugged open spaces, Montana is an outstanding place to call home, but it’s not always easy to find or access therapists in such a vast state. With online therapy, we can meet via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform from the convenience of your home or wherever you might be.

If you are feeling unwell, have mobility issues or we are in the midst of a snowstorm or torrential downpour, teletherapy makes it easy for you to receive the support you need. Additionally, many people find online psychotherapy to be less stressful than in-person visits and this option definitely provides a higher level of flexibility and convenience (ZERO commute time!).

For those who feel self-conscious about visiting a therapist’s office, online therapy provides a higher degree of privacy and anonymity. Working with an online therapist also allows you to find a therapist that is the best fit for your needs, rather than being restricted to only local therapists.

Why Wildroots Collective?

Wildroots Collective is a small group practice with women therapists providing compassionate care across these rural areas. We have availability to get you into session schedules within days of our first phone call.

At Wildroots, we focus on providing our clients with a unique approach to mental health counseling. We offer therapy with a strong holistic justice foundation and utilize trauma-informed feministic modalities. This approach integrates principles of social justice with a focus on treating the whole person – mind, body and spirit.

With this framework, we acknowledge that mental health is not simply an individual issue, but it is influenced by societal factors, including inequality, discrimination and access to resources.

Our approach is trauma-informed, recognizing that historic and systemic trauma impacts mental health. Your lived experiences of oppression, trauma and marginalization must be factored into any goals we set together. We offer a safe space for women from all backgrounds, including LGTQIA+ identities as well as black, brown, indigenous folks and other marginalized identities.
